TaxPayers' Alliance
Despite our name, we try our best to *not* pay taxes in the United Kingdom, hence some 'cheeky monkeys' on the left ('liberal fascists', 'communists', 'global warming believers', 'Labour Party members', 'Nazis' [National Socialists right?] and the like) call us the TaxAvoiders' Alliance (yes very funny, we are not amused.)
We really are rather close to the Conservative Party.

The Atlantic Bridge
We don't half love the United States of America. Many of us wish we were born there. There are 5 shadow cabinet members on the Advisory Council, and we make 'charitable donations' through this organisation for each other to be able to fly across the Atlantic having paid much lower tax for the pleasure! :D
We are not only 'close' to the Conservative Party, we virtually ARE the Conservative Party ;D
We go over the Atlantic a fair bit (we don't use a bridge, we fly, so I dunno why we've got bridge in our name) but you British Taxpayer suckers help pay for it. ;D 'Spirit of the law'? 'Paying tax'? I think not. ;D

I do hope you have enjoyed reading about the 'grassroots' and/or 'charitable' organisations we 'share some views' with? ;D
The 'charitable donations' for members of the Atlantic Bridge advisory Council to avoid paying income tax on the cost, makes cheap trans-Atlantic travel a boon! :D 'Spirit of the law'? 'Paying tax'? I think not. ;D
What's more, Senator Joe Lieberman, an American member of the Atlantic Bridge 'Advisory Council' has tried really hard to take down President Obama's healthcare bill! :D
Brilliant! :D The poor there are still poor and will hopefully still have trouble getting any necessary medical treatment; we have made a colossal effort to keep them 'down where they belong' :D
