The Welsh Labour website reports on another by-election win for The Labour Party in Wales.

"The Tories, led in Wales by Nick Bourne, were beaten into last place with 11 votes behind the Communist Party who picked up 12 votes.

Labour - Doug Williams - 217 (50.23%)
Independent - 143 (33.10%)
Plaid Cymru - 47 (10.87%) (May 2008 - 192)
Communist Party - 12 (2.77%)
Conservative Party - 11 (2.54%)

Turnout - 21.9%

Labour hold, with a swing of 1.5% from Plaid Cymru to Labour."
